Norse Goddess
I've had this miniature statue of the Norse Goddess Freyja (or Freya) for ages. The statue represents my hereditary roots, I am from Europe and the last names of my family connect to the vikings. Other than that Freyja is the goddess of love and cats, the person I was named after.
How Many Have You Got Lad
This is a cigarette case that belonged to my great grandfather. My mother and I were rummaging through some of the stuff in our office and found it, she told me I could keep it if I would like to, so I did. Although I never met him I can only assume he smoked.
Whole Blood Plum
Plums happen to be my favorite fruit, specifically black plums. I tend to prefer more watery juicy fruits than fruits like bananas.
And don't worry! After I took the photos it was consumed.

Family Reunion
I've found Russian dolls quite interesting in the way they can be used to express a family tree or something such as a story. I feel like my doll expresses more of a family story, the baby grows up into a teen that will marry someone and on the very outside you see the person has a child of their own. Along with my pig I keep the Russian doll on my desk, I don't open it often though as it makes an awful noise.
